Where to start? This might get rather boring...

Suppose I can start with my online name, which is augustc4. And perhaps you'll want to know that friends, family, and wife call me Ben. I'm currently a student trying to get a degree in business, with a minor in Computer Science. I've been drawing for years but only started to take it seriously in the last two or three. Making websites is something I love to do, but have never made any serious money as a result of my skill. I'm currently available for website or art commissions, but have to limit my services to serious customers only, as school is most important to me right now. I have time for commission work, but just like everyone else, I don't have time to waste.

I watch the history channel more often than any other, and have never watched more than 10 minutes of reality television in my entire life. I haven't read a book for entertainment since I was about 12, but frequently read technical manuals, scientific studies, and dictionary-esque publications. But then you could claim I find those things entertaining? Which I do... so strike that first comment. I read for entertainment all the time. :)

As you can tell by my art and my other website (Manga Revolution.com), I love anime and manga. My favorite artists of all time are Yoshitoshi aBE, and Range Murata. I study their work, attitudes, and methods as often as possible, and hope one day I can have a signature style, just as they do. I'm a HUGE fan of Kim Hyung Tae's character design and computer coloring skills, and secretly wish the technology of the Matrix existed. If that were the case, I would download his talent and use it to become as great as he is with no effort. =D
